Cleaning Tips

Cleaning dusty

Mold Buster

To control pink mold in the shower, squeegee glass shower doors after each use and run ceiling fan to remove humidity (mold loves a moist environment). And keep a spray bottle of white vinegar, with a few added drops of essential oil, and liberally spray areas where pink mold appears. Don’t worry – the vinegar smell will dissipate.

Perfect Porcelain Soft Scrub

In a squirt bottle (re-use dish detergent bottle), mix 50% Dawn Liquid Dish Soap with 50% Vinegar and a few drops of essential oil (we love peppermint). Shake and squirt onto sinks, toilets, tubs and shower floors. Scrub with a plastic pad and rinse.

Dusty’s Fave Duster

Nothing beats a good quality feather duster for capturing dust. Pull along horizontally and then tap on bottom of shoe. This releases dust on to the floor to be vacuumed up afterwards.

DIY Glass, Mirror & Chrome Cleaner

In a clean spray bottle, add equal parts water, white vinegar & rubbing alcohol. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil (we love citrus or peppermint). Use with a soft polishing cloth for a streak free shine.
